【세부 업무 소개】

Successful candidates will join a growing multidisciplinary group of world class scientists performing breakthrough research and providing innovative solutions to support better decision making across all sectors of the corporation including (but not limited to) the oil and gas industry, battery and green energy, chemicals and lubricants, and I/E materials. The lab offers a unique environment that combines basic research with applied projects reflecting the need to work closely with end users of the technology while also conducting research in multidisciplinary groups, publish in leading journals, and present in scientific forums.

Optimization & Analytics Lab은 SK 이노베이션의 전 사업영역(석유, 석유화학, 폴리머, 윤활유, 신생에너지, 배터리, 신소재)의 다양한 가치사슬(생산, 물류, Trading, 마케팅, 전략 기획, 재무, 자원관리)에 걸쳐 의사결정의 수준을 제고하기 위해 다양한operations research 기술들(mathematical optimization, stochastic programming, simulation, statistics, 등)을 활용하여 혁신적인 의사 결정 tool 과 알고리즘을 개발하는 research lab 입니다. 이 비전을 실현하기 위해 O&A Lab은 다음 같은 이상적인 연구 환경을 제공하고 있습니다. 첫째, 보다 창조적인 아이디어를 만들어 내기 위해 다양한 분야(Applied mathematics, Industrial engineering, Chemical engineering, Operations Research, Statistics, Computing)의 전문가들로 구성된 global research group을 만들어 가고 있습니다. 둘째, 보다 균형 있는 연구를 위해 선도기술을 개발하는 기초연구와 사업 적용을 목표로 한 실용적인 프로젝트를 균형 있게 경험할 수 있는 기회를 제공하고 있습니다.
